I was thinking pencil skirt and blouse or something
But i dont want to look to business
So I was thinking pencil skirt and bustier

But my mom keeps warning me not to look all sexy and stuff

What do ya'll think?

Ebony, wear what you wish..Doctors are just people with specific training...be yourself.

I would wear a pant suit. Why don't you pm Hennagirl, she's married to a doctor, she could guide you on what to wear.

my ex is a doctor....most docs and their wives are pretty conservative....try a little cocktail dress...something not too revealing though.

I love the Ann Taylor summer dresses with the prints. Macy's has those type of dresses on sale for 50% off.

Bustier? You aint going to a club!

You trying to pick up a doctor?

If you wear a bustier, make sure to carry a shawl....

Something like this should be appropriate (shows enough skin...but not too much):

~Sorry, don't know how to upload pixs:(

You know what...I was looking at that dress too! My guess is the style of it would be fine, but I wouldn't do it in a print. I guess it would depend on the type of dinner party it is.

OR if you wanted to do a print, maybe something soft and floral (just to get an idea):

Gorgeous dress! But I would go with the little black dinner dress. Conservative is key here. I know several doctors and lawyers and they do dress conservatively. I wouldn't wear this dress, especially if you are full (busty). I wouldn't show cleavage or buldges of my breasts at a doctor's dinner party.

The thing about this dress is that it looks like any minute, it might fall down. Not really, but if you are busty, it gives that impression because a strapless dress 'MOVES' up top with busty women. Ummmmm, I know, personally. ;) I love these dresses and I wear small jackets with them or a blazer to minimize my bustier appearance.

I'd go with a really nice sophisticated dress. I agree with your mom about the bustier and the pencil skirt makes me think of the office.

the zebra print might be a bit much. a nice cocktail dress would be appropiate and still allow you to show your personality

Oh, you don't have to wear black. It's just some of the pics I saw the dresses happen to be in black (I don't like black in the summer either...hoping that that is not becoming a trend though:lol:), but I thought the styles were nice. :)
