Has anyone used Microplane Foot File?

There's this foot file I read about on the Internet made by Microplane,they're famous for their food graters, they have this foot file and everyone's raving about it,it's not cheap but according to almost all posters,this is THE foot file to end all foot files.
I found it here in Canada but before I spend 24 CAN I wanted to see if anyone here has tried it.
They have an Orb and a Paddle version

I wouldn't want to use it...looks like it will put small cuts on the feet. Gotta be careful with the feet...learned that early in life...!

Users say it looks scary but it actually leaves feet really smooth
I need help with my feet, I went to the doctor and I've been using miconazole for feet to clear a nasty fungus infection, sorry TMI, but I've been exfoliating my feet,using Barielle Foot Cream and feet are still dry(infection has subsided,thank God). It has gotten to the point that I never wear my feet out in public:ohwell:

Hmmm, I don't know if it's the same thing but I do have a foot file that has a "grater" side. It is metal and is like a cheese grater but more fine. It wasn't expensive, because I don't drop big bucks on anything; pretty sure I got it all walmart.
I only use it maybe after the weather turns to sandal weather and there are some really rough, thick patches, but just to take off the surface or yeah, it will go too far and into tender tissue- but you don't realize it's gone too far until the skin s all dried and you try and put on some shoes.
