.........face and body products?

I'm wondering if they really make a difference as i have sensitive acne prone skin and am considering switching to all organic to avoid any synthentic/harsh chemicals.

YES!!! Girl, it's one of the best things you could ever do for your skin. I gave up drug store products a long time ago, and my skin has never been better.

I realized that nature has all the ingredients my skin needs to thrive and that if I couldn't pronounce an ingredient, it was a sign that my skin didn't need it.

So, I use Arcona, Desert Essence, and occasionally Mychelle. All three are natural lines, and they are WONDERFUL. I noticed the difference immediately after using these lines. I also like J/A/S/O/N's body wash.

I'm not going back to the chemicals. :nono:

I also use natural products as in as simple as I can get them, (eg EVOO to wash my face) but I came across a thread that was somewhat sobering about so-called "organic cosmetic products". Still, I think I'd use them before the chemical ones. You can read the thread:

"Organic Certified" Cosmetics?? Buyer Beware!! (http://spectacularskin.com/forums/forum_entry.php?id=36199)

I use all natural products for my hair and skin and use organic where possible.

I use Desert Essence face wash - saw a thread that Divine Inspiration started recommending this and have been using this ever since. I have just ordered black soap to try as I have heard really good reviews for this so I will see how this compares

For a toner when I can be bothered to make it (I know I really should get back on this) I mix organic aloe vera with organic rose water and add organic essential oils of geranium and lavender

I use organic papaya oil on my face and or unrefined shea butter

I use Jason's RED Elements and Dessert Essence.

I'm loving their calming Oil free cleanser, soft scrub with jojoba beads and toner.

Dessert Essences - I use their tea tree oil cleansing pads.

I've heard amazing things about MyChelle and am considering making the switch. I thought about going to Alba Organics, but surprisingly almost ALL of their products contain Parabens, Sulfates (detergents) and Cetyl Alcohol.

I noticed this about Alba too. very annoying as their stuff smells divine. but that smell is probably fake too. :ohwell:

I do, for my face.
Product recommendations from none other than DI:)

I use Desert Essence Throroughly Clean Face wash.
BTW I got the 32oz bottle yesterday at Whole Foods for $8.99! the 8oz bottle is 8.95, so I figured, I'll just get the big one on sale.

I use Earth Science almond-something:look: toner. It isn't for oily skin, but I am tired of using "oily skin" products that end up making my face feel parched! and therefore producing MORE oil to counteract the harshness of the product.

Earth Science almond moisturizer for all skin types.

DI sent me a citrus-smelling Mychelle facial scrub,
and I just bought Desert Essence Gentle Stimulating facial scrub as well.

I really feel I should let go of my non-organic shower cream and moisturizer and go to naturals.

J/A/S/O/N's makes a wonderful body wash...I highly recommend experimenting with their stuff. I've also got a body cream I'd be willing to send you if you're interested. :sekret:

I have been using aubrey organics moisturizers and I love them. I use olive oil soap and desert essence tea tree oil pads. This combination helped clear my face up fast. The majority of my products for hair and skin is from aubrey organics. I even bought some house hold cleaners from them... will be trying it soon. I like giovanni products also.

I think I am going to go back to using Jasons shower gels also. I used several years ago, but I stopped. I just purchased the Jason's Aloe Vera lotion and I really like it! This will be my new summer lotion.

I use Burt's Bees products for my face wash and body wash. I have been using them for the past month and it has worked great for me. They are usually in Walmart or Target. I have also heard good things about JASON products. I hope you find the right product for you.
