Okay I don't have those huge monstrous breakouts. But my skin can be a real problem sometimes.

Whatever I wash my face with, it still gets dry. However, whenever I wash my face with stuff for sensitive skin, it seems to breakout with acne. The only thing that ever did not irritate my skin was Dr. bronner's peppermint soap which is actually supposed to be strong. Only problem is, while I had an even complexion and no acne (my acne is usually whiteheads, sometimes pimples, but rarely) my face would be so dry that it would look ashy and would itch really bad.

I've tried moisturizers and even thought they say non-comodegenic, it seems like I have an allergic reaction to them. So many of them have some kind of common ingredient maybe that is doing this?

Well, anyway, I feel like I'm making the choice between hydrated supple skin that is prone to whiteheads (and every now and then pimples) or severely dry skin that is nice and clear.

Has anybody else had this problem? What did you do to get past it?

Aubrey Organics #6 line for sensitive skin works for me or Yon-Ka Paris line. Earlier my skin was so dry and itchy that I scratched it constantly and I was breaking out, I looked like I had a rash of whiteheads. After trying AO my face felt hydrated, no more dry itchy skin, my skin cleared up.

I have dry skin that is not sensitive though. I just bought the Cetaphil cleanser with their facial moisturizer (with spf). The have gentle ingredients. You might also want to try Aveeno.

These two lines should be gentle enough. A lot of dermatologists use and recommend cetaphil. It has no fragrance or all that harsh stuff.

I have acne prone sensitive skin and I know about the dry problem. I deal with it by using Cetaphil lotion which is mostly glycerin and water on my face after I wash with Purpose by Johnson and Johnson, and apply my Differin gel.

Differin is great for clearing acne and it lifts scars. My skin tone has evened out noticeably since I started using it last year.
