hey carrie,

i have been going to the gym for maybe 9 years now. i mostly do cardio machines and a little weights (mainly for my booty and legs). i would call myself (somewhat) lean. you cannot see my abs muscles or really definition on my arms/legs. i am kind of slim (5"6/136 pds) but i still would like to lose that fat on my stomach. the last time i had my fat percentage checked it was 18 %. the trainers at the gym said that that's pretty good for a female, but also they checked my fat in kg. i weigh 62 kg and 11 kg is fat. i was shocked. cause this means that i can still lose a lot of fat. but i also heard a lot of times that it is not healthy to go down to 15 % of body fat for females. another problem for me is this: my booty is pretty round. i don't want to lose my booty but i know i will cause it goes with my stomach. this means i either have a big booty and flab on my stomach or a smaller booty and toned stomach.
what do you think about this???? or do you think i'm just silly??? /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif
i would appreciate advice from you very much /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif!!!
thanks

usually losing that last little bit of fatmeans becoming stricter with the diet. To keep the booty round while you lose that last bit, try walking lunges and deep squats. Also use the step mill or the stepper for cardio.

As far as bf%, if you are an active female 15% IMO is fine. I usually don't go above 14% and get down to 7% at mt leanest.
