How do you get rid of a pimple in less than a week without leaving a scar? http://www.longhaircareforum.com/forums/images/graemlins/whyme.gif

I can't guarantee that it won't leave a scar but trying icing it in the morning and at night.

apply garlic juice. It should dry up overnight or at most 2 nights.

Hmm... I 'll look for it in the store.

Gosh, this thing is getting huge and not budging an inch! I think this is the biggest one I've ever had. It started on my nose after washing my face with olive oil for weeks. Eek!

Just slice a clove of garlic and rub the juice from the slice onto the pimple.

Gosh, it feels like a big bubble filled with water. Maybe I should just stick a pin in it, and let everything come out. Does anyone think that's a bad idea?

Very bad idea, that will definitely leave a scar.

You could try putting a warm washcloth over the area. This causes your pores to expand, and it may make the stuff come out of it...but I'm not sure if this will leave a scar.

Disclaimer: I have not tried this. And definitely don't try it if you're allergic to aspirin.

I read in Allure's August issue an article called "Homespun Heroes." It claimed that to help heal a zit, you can crush an aspirin and blend it with water to make a paste. Dilute with water before applying with skin. Supposedly, aspirin contains salicylic acid, the same beta hydroxy acid that's in many blemish products and anti-acne peels.

The article also suggested using Visine-A, the eye drops, to reduce acne swelling and redness. Apparently it will cause the blood vessels to contract.

Go to a dermatologist. If it's that huge and filled they will drain it for u and give u something to keep any potential scars/blemishes to a minimal.

I agree with Champagne Wishes on the QH Mint Julep masque. It's great for drying up pimples fast. Also, a Milk of Magnesia mask will work too. http://www.longhaircareforum.com/forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif
