Hey,

I have read a lot of good things about the Alpha Hydrox oil free gel and also about the foaming face wash on www.makeupalley.com. (http://www.makeupalley.com.) Everybody who used these products seems to like them a lot. I had ordered both last week from drugstore.com and I received it yesterday. I can't wait to see the results:)

Nay007,

I didn't know they had a gel product. Can you post a link to it?

Nay007,

Please give us a review after you've used it for a little while. TIA.

I have used this product for a long time. Everyone I know who uses this product has nice skin. I use the 8% or 10% lotion and get compliments on my skin all the time, even from the ladies at the cosmetcis counters. Let us know your results.

shalala,

the gel sounds to potent for my sensitive skin. how much glycolic acid does the lotion have? i dont have breakouts or oily skin but I notice that when I use my alpha hydroxy cleanser once and a while, it keeps my face bright, clear and glowing...mine is a cream by St Ives.

The gel is good for acne prone skin. The cream can clog your pores. I didn't know that when I bought the cream sometime ago, needless to say I bought the gel soon after but I haven't used it as of late.

It took me about 4 years to find a moisturizer that worked for me and after trying every product under the sun.. Alpha Hydrox worked for me... My skin glows, I always get compliments about my skin.

I had an ex whose mother was in her sixties and looked like she was in her forties and she told me to take care of my skin. She said Moisturize every single day and I'd be thankful when I reached 50... So I started in my early twenties taking care of my skin. Alpha Hydrox is the Bomb.

I have some advice for ladies who moistuize daily... When you moisturize your face roll down and moisturize your neck too. So not only will your face look young when you get older but your neck will stay firm too.

Nay... I noticed the Moroccan flag in your name thingie. My daddy was Moroccan http://www.longhaircareforum.com/forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

I actually went to the drugstore.com website and registered. They're giving away a free facial wash too. I might have to try this. I know a few people who use it and their skin always looks great. I wonder why i can't find this product in WalMart or Kmart.

crystal-- i thought you are supposed to moisturize stroking upward to counter the downward pull of gravity that causes wrinkles?

Yeah I guess that makes sense. I apply my facial moisturizer in upward circular motion and then roll down and do my neck. I do downward strokes...LOL.. never thought about upward motions on my neck...hmm.. I'll have to give that a try. Thanks.

lunalight, sorry I did not respond before but I was on vacation. The lotion I use is 10% AHA of a 70% solution. I am assuming that means that it is 10% glycolic acid. Alpha Hydrox used to make an 8% solution, which I think was the perfect formula for people just starting with AHA's but they don't make it anymore, only 9% and 10%. Let me know if you have any other questions.

No, I'm no longer using the product. Once I finished up the one tube that I ordered, I didn't get any more.
