Lord have mercy on my legs! I am a side line "that girl" participant. Last night I picked out this really cute skirt and top for work along with some red stilettos. Pin curled my hair and decided that I need nice smooth legs so I grabbed a bottle of nair applied it to both of my legs and after about 1 minutes my legs were on fire. I jumped in the shower, I could not get that stuff off my legs fast enough. Oh my word! I did everything to soothe my legs. I washed them with neutralizer shampoo and put olive oil on them they began to burn again. Well then I washed them again with the poo and put vaseline, they burned even more by that time my husband came upstairs asking me what the bleep was wrong with me. I ask him to bring me the aloe plant and he did, it helped.

I am about to call nair to see if they have a solution. Has anyone else had this problem?

I am sorry this happened to you. I can't use Nair either, it burns me too. I stick with my Venus razor and Alba Botanica cream shave. I used neosporin on my burned spots and they healed quickly with no scar or dark marks.

can you get your hands on some emu oil? It works wonders for burns.

Prissygirl, stop being a meanie

Gn1g, I have never heard this happen to anyone. I tell ya to put some butter on ya legs - even those most doctors don't recommend it it has always worked for me!

How badly are your legs burned??

sorry that happened to you. it was most likely an allergic reaction, which i've had before. did you happen to shave your legs any of the days before?

i actually just purchased some [the kind for sensitive skin] after a long hesitation. i used it for my bikini area and thank goodness i did not have a reaction to it.

I can't use the scented nair. It burns me. I didn't get burn as bad as you did but I had to rinse it out quickly. I'm not sure what to tell you, you should start doing patch test before you use products.
