I started training for the San Diego marathon last week. I trained for the Chicago marathon in 06, only to suffer an injury a few weeks prior to the race:( ... This year I'm training with a coach/ mentor through TNT/ teamintraining.com

That's awesome! I live here in San Diego, and I'm still on the fence about running the marathon, mainly because I think it'll be too soon. TNT is such a great group, and the training you receive is absolutely amazing. How long did it take you to train for the Chicago Marathon? If you had any words of advice for newbies what would they be. Also, GOOD LUCK in your training. Even if I'm not running in the Rock n Roll, I'll be there cheering everyone on.

I live in Dallas and training for the White Rock Lake Marathon in December. I am a beginner so I figured a whole year gives me plenty of time to train. I am currently running 4 miles during the week with 2 days off typically Wednesday & Saturday. My long run is on Sundays and this past Sunday I ran 7 miles. :)
