View Full Version : My one week update...
I said I would post this yesterday, but I didn't, so here goes. I just want to keep it breif, I love the Firm tapes. I'm so proud of myself for completing one week of these very tough tapes. I lost a few pounds, feeling good. I took a yoga class on Sunday which I really loved. And I've been such a good girl with my eating. I even passed up cake ( my favorite!) at a babyshower I went to Saturday, and I didn't even miss it. Well just wanted to share the sucess of my first week back working out!

I didn't do to good. No reason but I didn't get to workout at all. I did watch what I ate but I think I would feel better if I at least worked out some.

i ran two miles on saturday, one on sunday. jumped rope both days for twenty minutes. did one hundred stomach crunches on saturday but only twenty on sunday. clearly i've got to balance this out. i'd rather do 60 and 60. i missed belly dancing on monday too. been eating right tho'. lot's of veggies and water. i'm trying to switch to a big morning meal and two smaller meals during the day. i also want to quit eating before 6pm.
this week i want to:
continue to focus on eating right (these weeks before christmas are much worse than actual christmas dinner)
work on being consistent with my exercise regimen
good job on the running! I haven't jogged in years, I used to like jogging around the track either @ school or at my gym. Maybe I'll have to incorporate that into my cycle. I'm thinking ahead to Christmas dinner. I think if I stay away from mashed potatoes, stuffing and macaroni, I'll be safe! (easier said than done!) I'm going to try to stick w/white meat, greens and cranberry sauce. TRY! /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
I didn't do good at all last week. I ate all the wrong things and didn't exercise. My only excuse is that I had an allergic reaction to a lotion I used and my face swelled, had to be put on prednisone and my mom & dad were trying to make me feel better by feeding me. /forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gif I started eating a little better when the swelling went down. /forums/images/graemlins/smirk.gif This week I will definitely do better.

I've gone to the gym everyday so far, and I'm about to go now. I've done the elliptical trainer 2 a day one for 60 minutes, and then later for 45 minutes. This is getting boring, so I switch up the times. I'll do at least an hour total. But I won't get down on myself if I don't come through. I've been counting calories as good as I can. So far, I've lost 3 lbs.
I've been eating 1200 calories up from my usual 2500 calories, and I've burned off 600-1000 a day doing the elliptical exercises. I've been drinking 80 oz. of water a day. And I've been doing my ab exercises also.
I think that I will reach my first goal of 155 lbs. in a month. After that, I will set another goal for myself!

I'm so embarrassed. I haven't even started. I'm just doing what I always do. Help!! I haven't even been out to walk, to cold outside...
