Hello Ladies,
Tomorrow will be day 10 for me on the Master Cleanse. So far I have lost 14 pounds. I could have done better because I did not follow it to a tee. I believe that I am supposed to squeeze orange juice and dilute the first serving that I drink and if my stomach can tolerate, drink full strength orange juice the rest of the day. The next day vegetable broth right? Can anyone tell me how they made their broth? I am really trying to decide how I want to change my diet once I stop this Cleanse. I have 6 more pounds I want to shed before I end the Cleanse so I am thinking it will be the end of this week.:) How did you all start eating once you finished the Cleanse and the transition?

Do you have the link to the book? I can dig it up if you need it.

The way you end the fast might be just as important at the fast itself. I'm not doing juice, etc. cause that's just not me. I talked more about my plans in the master cleanse thread.

For broth I'm using miso. I think any wise choice in broths would be good, meaning: as healthy as possible. You could make your own pretty simply: a couple of onions, rough chopped carrots, some parsley, a crushed clove of garlic, maybe some spinach. Just cover all of that with water and maybe a bay leaf. Let it boil, turn it down, then simmer. Smoosh with a spoon, then strain and voila! Add a few drops of bragg's aminos, maybe some fresh ground pepper and after 10 days on the lemonade, you'll feel like you're eating stew. LOL!!!

I'm probably just gonna do miso cause I have a taste for it. Who knows, I might do something else when all is said and done. I might do the cleanse pure till the end of the month.

Congratulations Chagin! Make sure you end the cleanse properly, I ate a little on my last day and was constipated for a short while and my stomach churned and churned. Just do OJ on your "breaking the cleanse" day, it can be diluted or not, but it is best freshly squeezed.
P1's recipe sounds good for the broth, as long as you don't use any meat products in that first broth you should be good to go:)

Thank you Patient1 and JewellyNY for your replies. Patient1 your broth recipe sounds scrumptious to me right now. I am contemplating whether to go until the end of the month also. How long have you been doing it? I am being so careful about how I end this fast because I did this to start a new way of eating. Since I am a former junk food junkie, Patient1 could you please tell me what Miso is? You all Thanks so much!
