Y'all,

I know I could've covered this topic in the other threads related to the usage of one of God's greatest gifts (EVOO) but I just couldn't...I've been using EVOO for about 2 months and not only is my skin super-smooth BUT my eyelashes are incredibly longer...Has anyone else noticed this?

I love this board AND I love my EVOO!

Have a wonderful weekend!

Sometimes when I'm using my olive oil (stored in a convenient applicator bottle for easy access), I sometimes smooth a little on my lips and on my eyelashes and eyebrows, and each part of me seems to love it!!!!

Yes, olive oil is wonderful. And costor oil is also works great for eyelashes - just make sure you put it on right before you fall asleep coz you won't be able to read or watch TV with this stuff on http://www.longhaircareforum.com/forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

I don't wash my face in olive oil, but have been using it on my eyelashes for years and they did grow! Isn't that amazing?

I've been removing my eye makeup for years with olive oil. Maybe that's why my lashes have been so long and thick too.

I'm using this routine at night now... it does help the mascara glide on more smoothly in the a.m.!

Isis, I've added using olive oil to remove my eye makeup as well. BUT I swear by what my mama and grandmama swear by, Abolene--I adore this product to remove makeup.

I also am seeing noticable growth with castor oil and emu oil as well.

Do you guys thinks that Hot Six Oil would work, lol. I'm trying to use all that bottle for every single purpose.

It probably would since the main ingredient is olive oil, and most of the rest of the ingredients are natural. I'd be wary though, of the cyclomethicone.

WOW...COULD YOU EVER USE LIGHT VIRGIN OLIVE OIL?
DOES IT HAVE THE SAME EFFECT?

Ok ladies, don't laugh: When you all are talking about putting olive oil on your hair/lips/eyelashes, is it a specific kind or are you talking about the oil you can buy in the grocery store on the baking aisle? Sorry..., I'm kind of out of the loop.
