I am LOVING Rose Water right now. My skin type is combination oily and my T-zone is, on its best day, a complete oil slick and absolutely nothing seems to help for more than five seconds.

While cruising through the ailse at an Indian grocery (though you can either make your own or buy it at another store) I came across some rose water. It was only $1.99 so I snatched it up and tried it out.

I cleaned a spritzer cap and a bottle and poured some in, then spritzed it on my face. Instant cool, refreshing face toner in no time flat (redundant, but that's okay).

My face is now temporarily shine-free, smooth, soft, radiant, and fragrant. Let me tell you, the rose scent is [i]strong but I'm liking it. And I used to hate roses. http://www.longhaircareforum.com/forums/images/graemlins/nuts.gif http://www.longhaircareforum.com/forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif

I can't stop looking in the mirror. I have flushed cheeks! That used to only happen when it was two degrees outside. My face is radiant and healthy looking! I don't look tired any more.

Rose water is used as an astringent (you can also dab some on your face with a cotton ball) and it is also prized for it's cleansing and softening properties. I bought some rose hip lotion when I was in Morocco and I had people following me down the street when I went to Spain the next day, all up in the tour asking me about it. It was buttery soft and smelled amazing.

I let it dry without putting on any moisturizer and it's been a little over twenty minutes and my skin doesn't feel dry or stretched.

Thanx for this info...I will check it out even though my skin is not oily. The promise of a lovely scent always peaks my interest.
