Does anyone have any reviews for this natural relaxer? They say they are not like Copa or any of the other affiliated natural relaxers out there. I tried Copa years ago and hated it!

I found this about the active natural plant
It's not henna but it is a real plant that seems poisinous

Thanks for the link. It says it can be poisonus on contact w/ the skin. If it's as messy as henna, I don't see how touching the skin could be avoided.
I thought this was interesting but not interesting enough for me to try it.

I tried this in an attempt to ease into going natural. I relaxed the curl more after the second try. You only will really notice it once you go to flat iron or blow dry it. I kind of put it on the same scale at the Copa relaxer back in the '90s, except without the harmful hair discoloration. It is messy also.

did your hair feel dryer, or loss it's thickness? and did it really loosen the natural curl tht much I mean how was shrinkage before and after. If it really doesn't do much maybe a some heavy leav in conditioner and curly creme/gel would be the same thing? TIA

The curl was not considerably looser after the first application. After the second application it was. Yet still, I didn't get the full effect of the softness and shine they claim until I flat ironed my hair. That's how my hair reacted to the Copa too. With the one exception, that the Copa turned my hair green because I had light, ashy brown hair. The Baka stuff is like a crushed up dried green plant and takes a number of washed to get all the stuff out.

You could probably get the same results with the Extra Liso creme. And without all the mess.

Yes, I tried this relaxer. And it was a horrible experience. It left my hair dry, brittle, full of hugh knots, crunchy and falling out. And this was when I had finished the procedure. My hair was still wet. The knots were the size of .50 cent piece. I could not get the comb thru my hair without pulling out handfulls of knotted brittle hair.
I called the company. They sent me products to "correct the problem". What the "products" were was another relaxer kit. I was like WTF?
It took a very long time for my hair to bounce back. I believe it may have been a year. And to this day I have "spot" an inch behind my front hairline where my hair never grew back. That "spot" is half the size of your palm.
Proceed with caution.

I tried this once when I was natural. I didn't do anything but soften my hair a bit. It's more of a deep conditioner than a relaxer. It's hard as heck to wash out to. It's kind of messy but doesn't stain like henna.

Yeah I thought it looked kinda suspect.
