Queen Helene Mint Julep Moisturizer

I've been using this for about a month and a half now and I love it! It is very moisturizing and this is one of the few moisturizers that I've used that hasn't caused breakouts. Even many of the moisturizers touting "oil-free" are sometimes oily and greasy feeling, but this one is excellent at moisturizing without making you feel like you have Crisco or something on your face. http://www.longhaircareforum.com/forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif I don't know if this is a new product or something, I just started seeing it in the stores a few months ago, but it's great!

I saw this in the store recently too. Does it contain any spf? How good is it at keeping the shine to a minimum? TIA.

Allandra, it doesn't say anything about containing a sun protectant on the label. I suppose you could put a sunscreen over it. It smoothes into the skin shine free and non greasy.

I was wary at first about trying the moisturizer because it contains mineral oil and I know that that's supposed to clog your pores. I definitely didn't want to use something that might cause any flare ups. Since I had been using the mask and really loved it, I thought I'd go ahead and see if I like the moisturizer just as much. I do! I just started using the Mint Julep scrub a couple of weeks ago and love that too.

It's great when you find something that actually works like it says on the label and for it to be so inexpensive is a bonus!
