Legacy inspired 1.74 Pinkish Purple Tourmaline

So I finally got around to getting a few more pictures of the thing. Lovely lovely. I'm very happy with how this one looks.

I can go from being very pink to very purple. The stone is non treated per the vendor (which is likely true, a stone like this wouldn't cost a lot)

Tsavorite Garnet to Demantoid Garnet...it happens sometimes....

So I've had this particular stone in my collection for about 2 years. I evaluate my collection roughly every year. its a little extensive and yeah, I do forget sometimes that I've bought something at the same time I also catalog everything so I don't forget what it is.




This particular stone is a Tsavorite...or well, thats what I cataloged it as because thats what the seller sold it to...

Newest Stone - Rubellite Tourmaline

I won't say this was an impulse buy (it really wasn't) but I had been checking out D&J Rare Gems for a while and this one kept popping up.

A little update on a project

Yesterday I got an update from about my spessartite ring from the person thats creating the setting. Though he was working on it he was lovely enough to snap a picture, which I appreciate.

(ok so don't gross out y'all but he WAS in the middle of working on it, I ain't complaining since he'll clean it up before sending)




I particularly wanted to stay simple as this is a daily...
