Live has a way of throwing curve balls. Nothing bad.... just.... different. I choose to trust in The Creator and where he leads me. Regardless to where my path leads, I will always be true to who I am. Even if my opinion is unpopular, at the end of the day I can look back and know that I tried to do the right thing.

I have alot of big things going on. I'm excited, scared, anxious, and so on. I'm going to take my own advice and feel the fear but do it anyway. It's definitely a growing...

2011 is a new year and although I try not to make resolutions I did make myself a promise.

This year I am focused. FOCUSED!! My FH and I were discussing so many things and we agreed that this year we would collectively work harder to get to where we want/need to be. I'm thankful that I have someone that is like minded. I truly believe that THAT is what is meant by equally-yoked. I'm not religious, but I am spiritual. It's important to have someone that's going to be on the same page....

I have been having a love affair with my grass (hair.) I am 23 weeks post BC and 44 weeks post relaxer.

I've been 100% natural since February and it hasn't been as hard as people made it out to be. Finding out what my hair likes/loves/hates/hell-hates has been a work in progress for sure. I've noticed that it's the small tweaks that have made the most difference. My grass likes and thrives on simplicity (low manipulation, finger combing, etc.)

Is it really so hard to respect each other? Why the cattiness and bad attitudes?

I've just been sitting back and observing alot of tomfoolery. For the effort it takes to be snippy, rude, and inconsiderate.... much less is required to be decent, respectful, and perhaps kind.

I don't get it. And it's not for me to get I guess... in the mean time, I'll just keep on keeping on. Life is way too short to be so bitter.
