I have had a short pixie cut for about 5 years, prior to my cut I maintained shoulder length hair. I'm ready to grow my hair back to my desired length almost armpit length, but I need help with protective styling during this growth phase. I have a relaxer, the back is not shaved but tapered and its an asymmetrical cut. It seems almost impossible to avoid putting heat in my hair to attain some sort of style for work. Any suggestions would be very appreciated.
