Friday, Wash 1
--Prepooed with honey and EVOO and baggied for 1 hr. I like this prepoo. I don't know if my hair feels better later but I like the way it feels when I rinse. An hour is all I can stand though.

--Washed my scalp with Deva Curl No Poo. I'm not sure if I like this product or not. My hair shrinks up when I use it even if I just put it on my scalp. But I'm going to give it a try...

I spoke to a Deva Stylist in NC yesterday. After my research, he seemed to be a good fit for my personality. That's a definite must. He is more expensive than others but I feel like I will get the results I want.

I explained to him my issues. I also told him that I don't even know if I have any curls to be found in certain areas of my hair. I knew my ends were terrible and needed to go. I just wanted a good cut to have some shape to my hair and to have a head of healthy hair again....

In June or July of 2010 I took out my kinky twists and my hair was dry, wiry and damaged. It was like nothing I had ever experienced before. I have been on the journey for healthy hair for almost 2 years. And despite all of the things I have tried, my hair has not responded.
1. I cut all of my damaged ends off between 2010 and 2011

3. I switched from color to henna

I am trying to hydrate my hair so I am washing everday this week Going to give it my best shot. If my hair was shorter or longer it wouldn't be a big deal. But my hair is somewhere between EL and NL so I have to include styling time in this and it has to be something I don't mind taking out within 24 hours. That is a daunting tasks. Just going to give brief excerpts since this is a daily process.

Today was Week 7, Wash 1. Going to make this quick because not excited about my hair today. Missed my wash day on Friday so starting Week 7 today.

Coated my hair with honey and Olive Oil, baggied overnight. Trying to boost my hydration. Rinsed. Washed my hair with lavendar and lemon mudwashes. Applied the Heaven in Hair Deep Conditioner around 8 am and rinsed out around 1:00 pm. Switched between baggying, sitting under my heat cap and using my hot head cap.
