What Should I Try For April?

Posted 03-29-2013 at 11:12 AM by faithVA

Since my hair seems to be responding better to product, I am ready to try different things but I am looking for suggestions. So if there is anything you would like for me to do a product review on let me know by leaving a comment. For April I will do a review of 1 new product if I get enough suggestions.

There are a few requirements for this round though.

1. I must be able to get it on the ground. I'm not willing to pay shipping yet for 1 product.

Komaza Care Analysis Follow-up

Posted 03-07-2013 at 03:38 PM by faithVA

I had my analysis I believe in July of 2012. I should have had my follow-up in October or November but I didn't send in my follow-up samples until the end of January. I really wanted to let my hair grow out some more. Probably wasn't the wisest decision but I did.

I big chopped in August and have been trying to figure out my hair since and having some luck but not much. After many months I am back to struggling with my ends. I finally decided to send in my samples.

Leave In Search - Round 2 - Taliah Waajid Mist Bodifier

Posted 09-20-2012 at 08:59 PM by faithVA

The Trials
I only have a 1/2 bottle of the Mist Bodifier left so there will only be a few trials with this. Even with just 1 trial, the Mist Bodifier works better on my hair than the Giovanni Direct. So the Mist Bodifier will be the product to beat.

Mix Test 1- 1 tbsp Mist Bodifier with 1 tbsp AVG. Oils are added separatedly. Heated it up for 20 seconds and saturated my hair with it. Sat under my heat cap for 15 minutes and reapplied large amounts of it. I twisted my hair and...

Komaza Care Hair Analysis Recommendations

Posted 07-18-2012 at 09:40 AM by faithVA

The first line of business is to cut off the damage. She recommend a trim every 4 to 6 weeks until the damage is gone. But at this stage it's too risky becuase the splits are moving up the strand too fast. So I'm going to chop once and be done with it. I've already trimmed twice since June anyway.

After my cut, I should be left with healthy hair. The following recommendations were given to me based on the hair she could analyze. I will receive an updated version after 2 or 3 months...

Komaza Care Hair Analysis

Posted 07-17-2012 at 08:20 PM by faithVA
Updated 03-06-2013 at 02:05 PM by faithVA

I have been struggling with my hair since the summer of 2010 and now I finally know why it has been such a struggle.

I ordered a hair analysis from Komaza Care and received the results today. Her advice was to work from the inside out and focus on diet, exercise and the right supplments to help get my body back since I am experiencing hormonal issues as I head into menopause.

Her results consisted of slides that showed both my healthy hair and my damaged hair with notes...
