Congratulations to January 2013 Feature of the Month - Diva_Esq

Posted 01-01-2013 at 04:25 PM by beverly

(1) What is your hair care regimen?

I am fully natural. I am 2 years, 4 1/2 months post-bc (BC date = April 5, 2010) & my last relaxer was May 2, 2009. I am a huge believer in keeping it simple, keeping it moist and keeping it protected as it pertains to my hair. I cowash daily 85% of the time using Aussie Moist 3 Minute Miracle. Seriously, if I was trapped on a deserted island with no AM3MM, I'd throw myself to the sharks!! The stuff is amazing...great slip, wonderful

Congratulations to December 2012 Feature of the Month - LunadeMiel

(1) What is your hair care regimen?

My regimen is pretty simple, I wash and deep condition every two weeks. From December to May I would also blow dry on medium, then flat iron. I've bee wearing my hair less straight now since it's getting hotter. Also due to postpartum shedding my edges and ends are pretty thin so I try to not manipulate my hair too much. I use Optimum shampoo, followed by optimum reconstructor, then Una deep conditioning mask, lastly I used Aussie Moist conditioner....

Congratulations to October 2012 Feature of the Month - InchHighPrivateEye

(1) What is your hair care regimen?

My hair is relaxed. I get a professional touch up about every 16 weeks and in between that time, I try to limit salon visits as much as possible. I cowash regularly using Herbal Essences Long Term Relationship and Organix Coconut Conditioner, only using a nonsulfate shampoo about once in a two week period. I do braidouts most of the time, so that allows me to use tons and tons of coconut oil without making my hair look limp and greasy. I...

Congratulations to September 2012 Feature of the Month - Manter26

(1) What is your hair care regimen?

I keep my hair in braids about 80% of the time. If I go out at night, I'll put a wig over my braids but most of the time they are in a bun. If I'm not in braids, I'm usually in a braid out. Every weekeend I shampoo in about 10 braids then deep condition and steam with LeKair Cholesterol Plus. A few days later I undo each braid and split it into 2 or 3 smaller braids, then cowash with Giovanni Nutrafix. I use Shea Moisture Curl and Style Milk...
