Posted 05-21-2010 at 07:52 PM by mixedchick01

I know i read on the site that oil is only good to seal that it can't penetrate the hair, however i am seeing some people use coconut oil as a moisturizer??? I am confused can someone explain.

I find that my hair feels great when i use coconut oil. about a dime size any more will weigh it down. I washed and roller set today. I used mane and tail deep moisturizing conditioner mixed with some oils as a prepoo for an hour. I used creme of nature shampoo (left over product I am trying...

You're saying I need MORE sweets?

Posted 05-20-2010 at 09:19 AM by Vinyl

So I called EMS today because of extreme weakness/lightheadedness for the past few days, and it turns out I have low blood sugar.

I was relieved until as they were leaving they told Mom's b/f, "If she passes out/is unresponsive, it's best to call us because this can lead to a coma if it gets too low."

Living Clean

Posted 05-20-2010 at 07:52 AM by sareca

It's been 8 or 10 months since I gave up almost all the chemicals in my life. The last steps were my hair products (which I haven't missed nor has my wallet).

I expected to be further along after a whole year. It's surprisingly difficult to learn another language as an adult especially French. These conjugates are going to drive me crazy. I study at least 3 hours a day! I speak french whenever I leave the house (even to people I know can speak english).

How long until I stop translating...

"Don't be discouraged. It's often the last key in the bunch that opens the lock. "

This week after doing a routine workout, I turned on the television as I was showering, then I saw the words in captioning: “Don’t Stop Believing.” How many times do people give up after investing countless hours, days or even years in something and suddenly give up because things are not happening as quickly as they planned? Unfortunately, some people give up when...
