Grrr...

Attempt No. 1 was a disgrace.

I ran out to try Let's Jam Custard for a WnG. BAD MOVE. I had it in for 3 hours. First-2.5 inch long hair should not take 3 hours to dry!! Then it shrunk so bad, looked like I only had 1/2 of hair. So I washed it out...and there were SSKs! And worse--BREAKAGE. No breaks for 3 weeks and now it's started. UGH. That went in the trash.

I still havent dusted those SSK, but will do so this weekend on my BC 1-month-iversary...

Today is Try #2 for a SSK-free WnG.

Last night I washed & clarified with baking soda. DCd with SM Deep Treatment. Dusted and SnD'd SSKs from the last attempt. Then I was ready to start.

Procedure: used SM condish as a leave in. Applied sulfur grease to seal. Used flax gel. Smoothed in sections. Slept on it using my satin pillow case. Refreshed with SM curl enhancing smoothie.

Results: Best curl definition I've ever had. 18 hrs later it looks like I had...

I just tried the Organic Root Stimulator Olive Oil Replenishing Pak to see if I would like it and so far I do. I love how silky it was putting on. I can't wait to see the results tomorrow but it felt very moisturing going on and my hair felt soft.

Tuesday, Wash 3
Had an opportunity to move my wash day up. I prepooed with olive oil and honey and put my hair into 7 sections. I think I used too much honey so the prepoo wasn't as effective as before. I let it sit for about an hour then rinsed. I cowashed with Deva Care One. With the conditioner in I misted my hair with water and then did the squeeze-quench method to saturate my strands.
