For any one reading initially, although this is really to help me stay accountable as WW censors everything and it got really old; this is a blog not to plug the workout system. It's really to address that nagging question in my mind: Can I really get in shape from a program "As Seen on TV" and eating like the fitness models in "Oxygen"? Besides, I am sick of those d@mn Insanity ads.

Wen is slowly reeling me in...

So, it's 4am here and I am up watching a WEN infomercial. When I first started my HHJ I was a major PJ and bough waaay too much stuff during my trial/error period. DH is supportive of my hair goals, but does not love my PJism, so I promised him that I would use up my stash before I bought anything else.

I have been hearing rave reviews about WEN and especially 613 by Chaz Dean. I LOVE the idea that the cleansing conditioner acts as a cleanser, conditioner, deep conditioner, and leave-in...

To Relax or Not to Relax...that is the question.

I have been struggling with this natural vs. relaxed thing for over two years now. I've learned so much over the last two years, I definitely know what I was doing wrong and I've made a 180 degree improvement in taking care of my hair. The problem is that I keep trying to go natural but I don't make it very long and I end up relaxing.

I'm having another bout with it now that I'm 12 weeks post and due for my relaxer. A part of me wants to relax and install a sew-in as a protective...
