Inadequacy at its finest
I understand what you are going through. All I can say is that you have to be strong and don't let THEM change YOU. If they are looking at you crazy, then laugh a little to yourself, shake your head and keep on going. The ones who are acting crazy are not worth your time. They are letting you know that they are not up to par with you. They are letting you know up front.
You will find some more people/friends who are cool, it will just take more time.Posted 09-03-2009 at 07:01 AM by shenitab

The Big Debate--Wow.
what that person said didn't make any sense at all. and she didn't even know how to explain what she meant so her argument is invalid anyway.Posted 07-28-2009 at 07:33 PM by vainღ♥♡jane

The Big Debate--Wow.
I'm 95% natural and 5% relaxed (due to a sliver of hair I used to relax when I had weaves which is now growing out) and I must say Id laugh if anybody tried to call me fake because of that minority percentage.
I wouldn't care if I slapped two boxes of relaxer on my head tomorrow morning, if it grows from my scalp, it's not fake.
On a different note, shima… Something just don't sit right with me about that womanPosted 07-28-2009 at 04:12 AM by tash85

The Big Debate--Wow.
Haha, yeah, some of her other videos are a little...umm lol, but I just took offense at the woman's comment. You're right, just have to ignore the ignorant.Posted 07-28-2009 at 02:42 AM by JenBenCal

Welcome! Don't worry, you'll be a pro in so many areas in no time (rollersetting, co-washing, etc.). Just learn slowly. You don't have to know everything or try everything either. Just listen to your hair...it will let you know what it likes and what it doesn't like.
Good luck!Posted 07-26-2009 at 11:01 PM by SW2011
