I'm buggin out about applying to PT school. It's like the whole college process all over again... except 3x more competitive. 200-300 applicants for only 25-30 spots available for the freshman class.

I wish I knew I wanted to go to PT school earlier... I would have focused more in my classes and volunteered more than once. Hopefully my 3.4 gpa will get me into my first choice. *sigh* I forgot how annoying and stressful applying to school is. Definitely not looking forward to the GRE.

Would those GRE practice books and vocabulary flash cards even help?? I'm thinking about studying for the GRE Mon-Thur after classes and then some on Saturday. I'll be upset if those vocab words aren't on the GRE lol.

Oh gosh... I'm excited and terrified at the same time. It's time to dig into the applications though!

Work hard on the GRE, do as many practice questions as you can. If you do really well on it, that'll boost your application.

Those practice books really help!! I found that they help you a LOT with the vocab. When I was studying for the GRE, I would read newspapers ( like the Wall Street Journal) to boost my vocab. They also prepare you for the types of questions you will see on the exam. If you are disciplined in your studying, you'll find that the GRE is nothing more than a glorified SAT.

Also, this might be a little late but have you looked into any volunteer opportunities that you could be doing right now?
