My new super low-mani regimen.

So for the past 6 or 7 months I've been doing straight wash n' go's. I'm in love with them now that I have them perfected. It took years to do but I'm there now!
The reason why I say I have them perfected is because I can get them to last 6-7 days (have gone 8) w/o having to co-wash or re-wet at all. This is great to me because it is so low manipulation. I've always been low-mani but not to this extent. Literally all I do now is do a wash n' go and don't touch it for those 6-7 days. Only bad thing is I've gotten addicted to diffusing but it's only once a week and I use cool air mostly. I do nothing to my hair in-between time except maybe on the 4th or 5th day I may scrunch some moisturizer on the ends or scrunch in a penetrating oil.....only scrunch....applying any other way disturbs the curls and re-wetting/dampening/spritzing/or using too much of a water based moisturizer turns my curls frizzy and they don't hold up as long.....it took me so long to figure this out!!! DUH
I usually deep condition once a week just to see if it makes a difference in my hair because I'm not a frequent dc'er. So far I haven't noticed any difference. I think my hair is retaining really well. It's back to full hip-length I think, after all the chopping I had been doing. My only complaint is those pixie knots. I'll be straightening in a few days and I know it's gonna feel odd because my hair has been curly for so long but I really need to do some dusting and a really thorough S&D so I can get those SSK's and splits.

My hair tends to look dry after day 3 and I usually have to re-wet it (but then again, that's when I am doing braid outs so that may make a difference).
