Respect

Is it really so hard to respect each other? Why the cattiness and bad attitudes? 
I've just been sitting back and observing alot of tomfoolery. For the effort it takes to be snippy, rude, and inconsiderate.... much less is required to be decent, respectful, and perhaps kind.
I don't get it. And it's not for me to get I guess... in the mean time, I'll just keep on keeping on. Life is way too short to be so bitter.

As my dad used to say "you cannot give, what you haven't got". Respect can only be given if you truly have deep respect for yourself. I find that empty vessels make the most noise.
