23. Instead of focusing on having a budget, try shifting your thinking to purposefully and powerfully deciding where your money will go.
Many people associate budgets with being poor or have tight restrictions. However, budgeting is nothing more than choosing. It consists of choosing ahead of time how you will allocate your money...and that isn't restrictive at all when done properly. A spending plan will allow you to be in control of your money because if you don't manage your money, it will manage you!

It's ok to stumble. No one is perfect, and while you should strive for financial excellence, remember that there is much to learn and experience.l
25. Read books about finances. Be sure that you are educating yourself on investment trends, proper money management, and investing. Books like Dave Ramsey's Financial Peace and David Bach's Automatic Millionaire are great resources to help you develop your financial education.
26. Attend financial seminars. This goes along with books. Make it a point to get all of the information you can to make the most informed decisions possible.
27. Turn your car into a financial classroom. Books on CD are a great way to get new information with ease and convenience. Instead of listening to the top 40 or some babbling idiot, invest in your future!
