This is the half way mark.
Friday - Wash 1
--Prepooed with Yes to Carrots.
--Rinsed and my hair felt hard. It began to get big and tangled. Must be highly alkaline.
--Poured a very diluted mixture of Tresemme Naturals and water over my hair to try to calm it down.
--Rinsed and coated my hair with Tresemme Naturals. Let it sit while I showered.
--It was a bit softer but it did not feel as good as it usually does.
--Did not detangle due to roughness.
--Rinsed with warm water then followed with a cool rinse to try to close the cuticle.
--Slathered my hair with Deva One Conditioner.
--Sectioned my hair, baggied and sat under my heat cap for 15 minutes.
--Smoothed conditioner through smaller sections, baggied and sat with my hot head cap for a while.
--Added water, Deva One Conditioner and Tresemme Naturals to my hair and to my ends and smoothed.
I then finger detangled/combed. It wasn't as easy as usual but it was better than I expected.
--My hair soaked up all the conditioner.
--I put my hair into small sections and clamped it with barrettes at the top and bottom to help it air dry faster.
--After it dried 70% I put my hair into small twists.
Sunday - Wash 2
--Started really late.
--Sectioned hair into 4 parts and smoothed Blue Chamomile into each section. Sat under heat cap for 45 minutes.
--Smoothed Tresemme Naturals over the DC and lightly finger detangled.
--Rinsed and cowashed with Tresemme Naturals. I let it sit while I showered.
--Rinsed and used Tresemme Naturals as my leave-in.
--Skipped finger combing and just smoothed conditioner into small sections and twisted.
--Sealed my ends with castor/wheat germ/flax seed oil.
--Oiled my crown with castor/EO blend.
--My hair was dry by morning.
--Hair felt crunchy in the morning and not as soft as I would like it. My ends are still quite brittle.
