Henna App 2: My continued love affair with henna

Went to Sydney this weekend and picked up 10 more packs of Nupur, which should last me another 10 weeks. Applied my henna around 6:30pm on Sunday and left it on overnight. I've decided overnight saves me the henna weight headache I get from the heaviness on my head. Put down a crappy towel, and unfortunately, it was necessary as by morning, there was a reasonable stain from the leak at my nape. Did the sink swish at 6:30am, did a short deep treatment with henna wax and rinsed, putting my hair in twists. Hair was soft, but style challenged since it was still wet-hence the twists+beret. Came home last night, did a proper deep treatment, sealing my hair with flaxseed gel and Shea Butter, Eco Styler on the ends, then a series of flat twists to dry overnight.
OMG!!!!! My hair is so shiny it really does look like doll hair! I have shiny, defined curls. The weekly thing is so compelling, I may bring my henna with me if I don't get it on my head on Thursday night! I can see a wash and go in my future. I'll probably continue this until the front section starts really straightening out. My front is undeniably 3b, now that the frizz is calming down. The really tight curls on the sides of my head are also becoming more manageable and the back seems almost as loose as the front.
Still looking for more length, but for now, I'm just fascinated with the texture.
Added a pix: apologies for the sideways photo. Don't know how to adjust.
Next update after my next henna treatment
