And now on to my face...I have found a recipe on acne.org that according to some folks works well for scar removal. It is a modification of something from the Dr Perricone product. The suggest 1 tablet of Ester C, 1 tablet of Alpha Lipoic Acid and DMAE. Since I live in a place that doesn't get a lot of products, I had to do without the DMAE.

I have been crushing both tablets in a mortar and pestle and adding isoproyl alcohol to get the "dust" created to get into a small product container. I add Akin brand Rosehip Oil to this liquid and use it at night. I don't know if it's doing anything for my dark marks, but the texture of my skin is amazing and I have no more adult acne. I am checking to see if I need to add something like a salacylic acid (aspirin) treatment. I'll do one tomorrow and see.

Also, this morning, I tried scrubbing my face with a wash cloth and my Diane Stalder Papaya soap-left it on till I got in the shower to rinse, then added Palmer's AHA cream as a sunscreen protectant. Again, can't tell if the marks are gone, but my skin has a translucence it didn't have before and it is REALLY smooth now.
