Top Notes: African Orange Flower, Narcissus,

Middle Notes:Jasmine,Orange, Rose

Base Notes:vetyver, musk, sandalwood

Application: All over

Given its name you would expect something dark, sensual, a bit sinister even.

Its reallly none of those at all.

Upon Application I get this amazing burst of musk and orange. yeah I was like hmmm...orange?

I don't find anything "noir" about orange! maybe if it were a spicy orange...but, it is not.

one hour in:
Vetyver makes its way to the forground. On me its more new hay/wet grass smell. Its very fresh smelling. I tend to have an issue with perfumes that have a lot of musk, in that the musk part doesn't like to stick around too much!

4 hours in: Still really lovely and gorgeous and the florals have made their arrival quite known by this time. To me the scent is quite soft, it wears close to the skin, and even though I sprayed my entire body its not all over the house. THis is not to say its not a beauty because it really is, but its a close wearing one.

At the 8 hour mark It was still going quite strong, though there's not much sillage.

In conclusion:

I will say that this is a lovely lovely scent; one I will keep in mind when I am looking for a bright floral. However its not exactly going to be my first choice, though I love carons quite a lot.

Work scent? absolutely. However, for the younger ladies, have your isht together before attempting to wear this, otherwise, it will wear you!

An older woman of say 40+ will appreciate the sophisticatedness (if thats such a word) of this scent.

I have to admit I don't love it as much as I love Sacre. That was kinda blew my mind, but its still not as good as my favorite Caron ever; Tubereuse.
