Ok I started the Fall Steaming Challenge and forgot that I was in it or started it , so I have to get on my game. I hate sitting under anything so going to have to make myself do this.

I've had my steamer for a year but I rarely use it. So during the steaming challenge I will discover what is the best for me so I always have a go to plan.

The plan was to mud wash, rinse, condition with yogurt, rinse and steam but it didn't happen that way. I ended up letting the mud wash sit for 30 minutes and then steaming for 20 minutes. I added EOs (too many) too the water and almost caused the water to boil over . Won't be doing that again.

Lessons Learned
I tried a new location but I get better steam putting the steamer on the kitchen table.

In the future I will only use the steamer with the mud wash when I want to really intensify the cleansing/detox action of the mud wash. So I know not to do this more than once a month.

Start with 5 drops of EO if I choose to do it again.

Next
A few things I want to try in the future
1. Steam with Zuresh conditioner (oil based)
2. Apply oils on wet hair and steam
3. Oil rinse and steam
4. Mix AVG and oil and steam
5. Apply a leave-in and steam
6. Steam first and apply conditioner (maybe).

Will try each one 2x unless its an utter fail. But if you've read my blog posts you know that this can change at any moment.

See you next week!
