Do you think this is a good idea?...I searched and couldn't find one.

I thought maybe we could share our finds and where we bought them, bargains, sales, vouchers available, thrift, er I mean Charity shops etc etc.

Anyone looking for skinny jeans in a very long length should head for M&S. They come in black, regular denim blue, cobalt blue and orange. I bought 2 pairs. I think they were £24 each. The fit is fantastic and they are very comfy.

Being in the US, I love shopping on UK websites because I hate seeing someone walk by me with the same outfit or if I'm able to pin point where they brought the item from. Which websites are your favorite?

love it! I am a Zara fiend as well as Primarni.

I will try and post some of the newer designers I come across in London also :yep:

Love Zara too. I just bought a blue tweed jacket for £9. It was £59.99. Bargain.
Yep, love a bit of Primarni - the earrings are fab at the moment. Bought some huge feather ones today.

I'm tall so am selective where I buy. Dorothy Perkins, Topshop, M&S are the regular high street shops that cater for my proportions.

If anyone needs advice on where to go if they are tall let me know or you can share your store/website finds, but i think i've found them all!

sj10460 Topshop website may be a good place to start. Celebs here go there for their high street buys and Kate Moss has designed for them. Kate has also just released a collection for Mango.

Get thread OP:thumbsup:

I'm Plus Size:grin:

I usually shop online on Ebay and Simply Be et al as I love Joe Brown designs. Sometimes I'll look at Yours but, it's usually a last resort as the clothes are frumpy as hell. :nono:

My next go to place are markets such as Fonthill Road, Finsbury Park. There's a few places to visit down there for Evans/Joe Brown. Also, there are sellers in several markets around East London that sell Evans clothes.

Ah, I forgot about markets.
Now i think of it there is a stall in Elephant & Castle, by Santander that always has a few gems.

I go to Uniqlo to buy my jeans. I love them because they are affordable and they are just the right size for my long legs. I bought some work trousers from there a few weeks ago after having trouble with the length in other stores. They also offer same day tailoring which is either free or about £3 depending on how much money you spent on them. But I've never had to do that.

I haven't been to Fonthill Road since college. I remember when you could go there with 20 pounds and leave with bare stuff.

Great thread.
I also like H&M for affordable trends. You have to be careful though, some of their stuff can be badly made.
Topshop & Zara are great too. Recently got a fab pair of suede flats from Zara for under £10 on sale.

Thanks for the tag!!

Uniqlo seems to be one of the places to go these days, although we don't have any in Birmingham.

Does anyone know any place to get high quality dress shirts for women?

T.M Lewin. I believe they have branches all over the UK and always have a sale on.

I think Thomas Pink is what I was looking for, the TM Lewin shirts are OK but I like thicker shirts.

Brand Alley and Secret Sales are websites that I check daily. They sell brand and designer stuff at discounted prices for a few days. They also occasionally do make up and house items and other random things. I've got some good quality stuff from here saving a ton of money. The only down fall is that sometimes the items can take a good 6 weeks to come at times but it's explained why if you read about it on the website. A few times my order has been cancelled after waiting weeks due to issues with the supplier but that will never stop me from ordering from there.

Cool thread thanks for the tag. Don't come here much anymore :)

Do you lot know of any decent charity shops? I'm willing to go to a decent one but everytime I venture in one the quality is less than the stuff I give away!

Not just 'go to rich areas' lol. Do u go to a specific shop and find cute stuff? Ta x
