But what can I wear on top of them in the summer to cover up and look decent? And yet not roast to death? This was so much easier in the Winter / Early spring. And now time has come to change my style and it's really hard :( Please let me know any suggestions. I really like the tanks, they make dressing up so cute and easy!!!

http://www.nyandcompany.com/trends/index.jsp has a lot of great business-like outfits that look comfortable and not too hot

hey I like that green short sleeved shirt pictured when you first click the link! I'm concerned about how thin your arms need to be to make that look good, but I think I'll be checking 'em out, anyway. Thank you!

(Please feel free to add more suggestions, please!)

What about shrugs like this one:

I have two from Old Navy, a black one and white one. You can get short sleeved ones, quarter-sleeve, or long sleeve. The come in very handy when I want to wear my spaghetti strap shirts to work and thus, extend my wardrobe. They come in all colors.

I have a couple almost like that from Gap! They were waaaaaaaaaaay too awesome in the Spring. Unfortunately, the material is kinda heavy, not quite wool, but still not summer stuff. I'll have to check these out to see if I can get something like them... especially something that drops a little lower.. the ones on the sight are kinda high up

Yeah I have seen some that are way too heavy. Mine from Old Navy are pretty light. I don't know if they have any left though. They are also long-sleeved but I just "jouche" (word they used to use on Queer Eye) the sleeves up.

I think long sleeves look better on people with thicker arms, anyway (like me  ). That, and sleeveless  Wow... who knew I'd be stalking Old Navy for my summer work outfits! Too bad there ain't a dime left in my checking acct till pay day!

I wonder if one would wear that to work, though? It seems rather sheer, and the tank would show right through. The style is tight, though! It would suit me awesome if I could find it in a solid. I'm not trying to do fashion show at work, but the last thing I usually want is to look plain!

It is very cute, but I wouldn't wear it in a corporate setting. I wonder if one would wear that to work, though? It seems rather sheer, and the tank would show right through. I'm having the same problem though. I like a lot of the skinny strap and strapless tops and wonder how appropriate they are or what I can wear over them.

How about a button front shirt worn open over your tank? You could wear it loose, tucked into your waistband or tied at the waist.
