What are the "basics," in your opinion?

Timeless classics that everyone should own?

Fundamental elements to your wardrobe?

The pieces you can spend more on because they will get sooo much mileage?

I'll start it off; - A good blazer (ladies jacket), can't go wrong there

A good business suit (either a pant or skirt suit), but a good blazer was the first thing that came to mind.

I agree with the above poster, a good blazer that fits you to perfection will be something that you wil use a lot, with the matching pants and skirt, or with jeans.

a dark rinse well fitting pair of jeans

a v neck cardigan in a colour that makes you smile(wear over dresses,with skirts,with jeans,pants)

a piece of jewelry that draws attention to your face.

a tailored knee-length black dress

IMO, a white shirt(although many people don't like it in real life)

SHOES. if your shoe game is on point,it'll make the whole outfit.

tailor, tailor, tailor

(more, but I'm tired..)

What is the nicest looking basic white shirt? I had this beautiful silk one from Saks years ago. Texture like a rose petal!!!
