Hi ladies,

I am going to a wedding on October 4th and need help. I want to wear a Chinese Style dress and the three below are my favs. I personally like the blue one, but don't know if its appropriate for Fall and a wedding.

hmmm....this is kinda tricky. I'm leaning towards the "no" side. Asian inspired dresses can come off as a bit costumey, depending on the occassion but I do like the dresses. I think you would do better if you can find an asian print that incorporates fall colors (rust, gold, deep red, etc.)

I would also consider a simple wrap dress in a nice fall color, a solid sheath or maybe a pantsuit in a silk shangtung, if you wanna keep the asian feel.

Thanks Daephae! I am still undecided. I might go to Macy's this weekend to see if I can find anything worth buying. Since you live in the B-more area can you recommend a place to buy nice dresses?

I'm sooo picky about dresses...I'm petite so I tend to order online or have stuff made mainly. I love Loehmann's...if you feel like digging try Marshalls. They have LOTS of famous maker dresses like Calvin Klein, ABS by Allen Schwartz, Tahari, Adrianna Papell, etc.
