i've got courtside seats for the lakers this weekend - meaning i'll be next to jack and all the other celebs (not to mention mrs. kobe bryant) what should i wear? i must look...game stopping, but not too revealing. i'm thinking the outfit should involve jeans but then what?

i need to accentuate the positives - chest, butt, legs
and eliminate the negative - gut, thighs that i hate.

any ideas? ideas with pictures would be great too. i was thinking of copying halle from this thread: http://www.longhaircareforum.com/showthread.php?t=181949

is that too "casual" or blah for courtside?

I'd probably go for casual with jeans but with heels and nice accessories....

If you actually there for the game wear something comfortable, because when you actually there more than the game is going on and you really get into it. At least when I go to live games. If you there just to be seen, go the Beyonce route, but its no way Im going to a sporting event in heels. It just doesnt work. :ohwell: Heels and basketball?

I suggested it as she mentioned wanting fit in with celebs etc...I always feel if you want to blend in, look to what you're trying to blend into... I guessed she'd just be sitting in a seat watching, didnt realise she'd be active. :ohwell:

Anyway, enjoy OP!! x

I agree with you, I don't think she's planning on actually playing so..... heels are cool.

And I definitely cosign the beyonce ideas- when the OP posted this topic, that's who I thought of, she's in jeans, but she jazzes it up with blazers, pumps, accessories- so it's casual, but definitely eye-catching and cute, which is basically what the OP stated that she wanted.

somebody needs to post those pictures of jessica, tyra, kimora and beyonce courtside. that's the look you should be going for, imo.

YES!!! very cute idea. thank you for posting pics. i needed some courtside inspiration. i ned to find a jacket - its so hard to find a good fit when you have a large chest. i'm going to check out a few things. thanks again for those suggestions!!

i get what you are saying and i agree - form over function is always better. however, its a lakers game! even women in the nose bleed section are there to represent! you'll see women everything from mini dresses to the cute casual look londontresses suggested at these games. and since i'll be courtside...my seats are on the court - - - i can't be looking "too comfortable."

Perfect!!! Thank you! i just needed some pictures for inspiration. and they're even more casual than i thought. beyonce even looks a little boho-chic there. i like what they're all wearing. i'm going to hit my favorite online boutiques and look for something like this. THANK YOU ALL SO MUCH. and if you find anymore courtside pix - please post!

Lucky girl! I agree with the above comments. :yep: Be cute and have fun!

Oh how I wish I had known ahead of time that I was going to have courtside seats last Wednesday during the Nets vs. Pistons game! I went there thinking I'd be in the seats I paid for but my hook-up came through and upgraded ds and I to courtside. :yep:
I was trying to be warm and comfy so I was rockin' an olive green VS velour tracksuit, black Nikes and a protective bun. There wasn't even a phony attached to it! :wallbash: No make-up, no perfume, nothing. :ohwell:
All I could think of was "thank God I have a dh at home!" :lachen:

ETA: There weren't any celebs (that I know of) at that game that night AND there was a couple seated near me and the wife was wearing a velour tracksuit as well.
