I really love this character and for many reasons.

He started out 'without' heart and without love and in the end...
he had heart and he had love.

He may be a 'character' of Charles Dickens, but in real life, there are many Ebeneezer's and Ebie's abound. For they have not love, they have not heart, they have not Jesus.

Were it not for Him, our Lord who IS Love, the meaning and the experience would not be ours.

I'm just sorry that Charles Dickens didn't give Jesus the credit for the change in Ebeneezer's heart. It's implied in the dialog of the story, but implying God is not enough.

Whatever we do, it must be fully established that God is the reason in our doing so that others will know and see who truly lives in us eternally.

Jesus...:heart2:

I've noticed that I kinda gravitate towards people like Ebeneezer. I have a desire to show them love.:huggle:

That's why you love me. I'm cold as ice...

Even in the coldest days of winter, I'll be at the store buying a bag of ice to put in my home freezer. :yep:

I love you too, klb...:huggle:

 Hi Angel...

You know what? I'm still a piece of work and then some. Whenever I see this movie, I think that is God can change the heart of Ebeneezer Scrooge, how much more, my heart?

God surely changed Paul's heart. From Saul Tarses (sp?) to Paul. How much more, my heart?

God bless you Spring Breeze :giveheart: You are that gentle, peaceful wind that has the sweet fragrance of Jesus Christ... Yes you are. :yep:

Glade can't touch you... :nono: For Jesus has instead. You have His heart.
