..together that is. I'm no fashionista, so I thought I'd ask . Are there color combinations that are just WRONG?

No i DON'T believe so. It realy depends on the outfit

Not at all.

No colors are truly OFF LIMITS from eachother. Now certain hues and tones are visually unappealing to the eye. :yep:

I love the look of nude browns and tans against back.

I personally stay away from black and brown unless it's a designed pattern such as the 3rd dress above or the suit in the 1st picture - which looks like a wool/tweed that has black woven into the brown.

Other than that, a brown shirt with black dress slacks/skirt...is a complete no-no in my book.:nono: But in general I'm not a huge fan of black to begin with.

LILO looks a hot *** mess. I hope no one is following her fashion style. LMAO. Cos that outfit is awful. Yeah tan is kinda a shade of brown but it goes better with black than chocolate

If it's done right, you can wear them together. I've seen it done before. But I probably wouldn't do it.

I think it depends on what you do with it. A light brown and a black is always ok IMO if you add another color to offset, like a white, creme or light blue.

I also think browns and blacks together can work if you mix materials - for example, a brown sweater dress (cotton, cashmere etc) with a black leather belt and shoes, or a brown dress shirt with a black high waist belt.
